What is Cyber Essentials?

The UK’s Cyber Essentials scheme was launched in June 2014 and since October 2014, the Cyber Essentials certification has been a requirement for any business who wish to be a supplier to the UK Government.

Do we need to get certified?

It’s not a requirement by law to be certified, however having the certification shows both your current and potential customers that you take the privacy and security of their personal information seriously.
